Sunday funday...

 6:42am

I'm dead asleep. I feel someone moving the pillow next to me and as I slowly open my eyes I see Juniper attempting catch a daddy long legs spider thats walking right to my face. I bolt straight up.

Quick side story: Shane, my boyfriend, literally told me the night before these seemly harmless spiders are poisonous and I already have crazy arachnophobia.

Juniper give me a wtf look as I shoo the spider off the bed. She continues to watch it before completely losing sight of the spider even though its 6 inches to the right of her. She goes left and the spider gets to live another day.

Seems like a great start to sunday...

  1. Hi Dahlia,
I really enjoyed reading about your cat story. I adopted a kitten a few months ago and love her dearly! I would never have thought of myself as a cat person before, but my new kitten Phoebe has definitely changed my mind. She is such a rascal and loves cuddling up and being right next to me. There are numerous crazy moments I caught Phoebe doing whether its chasing and jumping on my dog, or grabbing my fish tanks and trying to swat at my fish! Cats are definitely so crazy but so loving at the same time, never a dull moment.

  2. I also love cat stories because they always crack me up. I think cats are so interesting to me because I grew up with dogs and the two energies a cat brings into a room and a dog brings into a room are completely different things. Cat's simply don't need your attention like dogs do and you can't really control them which I think is so fun. Your posts are making me think I might need a cat in my life.
